The Study of Implementation of Innovated Products in Production Process
Molík, Tomáš ; Šifalda, Martin (referee) ; Jurová, Marie (advisor)
This student thesis deals with a problem of manufacturing and competition ability of the joint stock company ZVVZ in the range of its manufacturing program - radial fans. The thesis compares the present and the innovated type of small radial fans from the view of manufacturing technology and manufacturing costs. The study comes out the technological documentation and demand forecast of future market. Finally the thesis summaries conditions which are necessary for the successful entrance of the innovated type of radial fans into the manufacturing process.
Cost analysis of building objects
Gregovská, Kateřina ; Zimmermann, Lukáš (referee) ; Výskala, Miloslav (advisor)
The aim of the thesis is to analyse the costs of civil engineering structures in terms of their distribution according to construction or other parts. The first part of the thesis focuses on the cost analysis of sewer lines. The analysis is made on several dozen budgets of real sewer lines, where the technical parameters, economic parameters, parameters on debris generated and costing parameters are compared. From all numerical parameters, the minimum, maximum, average and median values are then evaluated. The next part of the thesis deals with the creation of budgets per 1 mb for excavation in grassed area, road and pavement. The budgets include certain parameters that were found from the previous analysis. The budgets created are then used to determine the change in total cost with changes in excavation depth and pipe diameter. Also, as these parameters change, the labour, the amount of debris removed, backfilling with reused and new soil, and disposal of excavated soil to the landfill are examined. The main purpose is to combine the comparison of all the parameters and find the optimal solutions. In the final stage, the prices of the individual sewer line budgets are compared with the price indicators.
Optimalizace pěstitelské technologie, ekonomických ukazatelů produkce a realizace raného zelí
Čermáková, Eliška
The first part of the thesis „Optimization of cultivation technology, economic indicators of production and realization of early cabbage“ describes the issues related to vegetable production, including a brief destription of suitable contidions for growing early cabbage. The development of prices for producers and consumers in Czech republic was monitored during the period from 2002 to 2022. The largest producers of cabbage in the European Union and in the world were idenntified for the period from 2010 to 2021. As a result of monitoring foreign trade was identified the balance. The entire thesis is linked to a specific agricultural enterprise where important marketing and economic data were collected, based on which a SWOT analysis was conducted followed by a marketing stratégy that focuses mainly on online marketing. Recommendations for improving vegetable production and increasing sales, not only for early cabbage, were derived from this analysis.

SW Support and maintenance: Extension of onthology about COE concept, simplification of effort estimation
Marounek, Petr ; Toman, Prokop (advisor) ; Stecker, Ladislav (referee) ; Dvořák, Jiří (referee) ; Slabý, Antonín (referee)
Effective implementation (in terms of time, cost, utilization of human resources, etc.) of information systems operation is a strategic issue in today's time when business processes are integrally aligned with the informatics. Currently, costs associated with software support and maintenance represent more than 90% of total costs. Software maintenance is a set of activities needed for cost-effective support of IT solution. IS / IT Center of excellence (COE) do not cover the area of software support and maintenance, there is no formalized methodology or procedural framework for COE for support and maintenance -- in reality, it means missing processes and procedures for creating it, management and evaluation of it. Moreover, there are missing recommendation about organization structure, services to be provided and overall continuous improvement. Therefore author proposes his own solution by definition and implementation of center of excellence for support and maintenance and its sub-centers of excellence for support and maintenance of particular applications. Current ontology of support and maintenance does not capture the necessary components and links -- namely missing management, planning and effort estimation views. Therefore author proposes his redefinition and enrichment of ontology of organizational structure about elements of competence and sub-competence center, typology of tasks (management, maintenance), and their management - estimating, planning and realization. In his work, Magne Jorgensen formulated conclusions that 83 to 84% of all estimation is done by pure expert estimates and estimating models are not used basically due to their complexity. Based on extending PERT formula about quality of estimator and historical experience, author introduced his simplified, easy to use approach to effort estimation in software maintenance. Both introduced formulas were verified in sub-competence center for supporting mortgage IS with significantly better result than only pure PERT estimate (98.8% and 91.8% against pure PERT 90.1%). In conclusion, author discusses the benefits of the implementation of center of excellence for support and maintenance and sub-centers of excellence for support and maintenance of particular applications, and overall fulfilling of thesis scope.
Software Estimation
Surňák, Peter ; Buchalcevová, Alena (advisor) ; Stanovská, Iva (referee)
This thesis deals with software estimation, describes individual methods which may be used for constructing estimates in terms of effort, time and costs. It also deals with quality of estimate, the way it is used, the process of selection of the right method and other consequences. The main goal of thesis is creating a compact overview of currently known and used methods and approaches to constructing estimates. As a secondary target comes an example of practical use of estimate on a simulated project, where the way of choosing estimating method is presented, based on project attributes such as size, current stage of project or project type. For achieving these intentions, it is important to first set up basic framework of basic terms such as estimate, estimating, project and software project. Apart from just defining these terms, there are some necessary interrelations which must be explained before anything else. Another step is creating categorization of particular methods, their description, restrictions and suitable uses. The quality of an estimate, including factors which may bias, degrade or improve it, is another step towards final goal. Consequences, which may arise when wrong estimate has been provided, are one more piece of mosaic to this work. Lastly, case study demonstrate how to choose from estimating methods and use them on particular project. The expected benefits of the thesis are mainly in summarizing of existing approaches to the art of estimating broken down to categories, as well as list of principles and factors which affects an estimate and the ways estimates influence the project (in either positive or negative direction).
Usage of the UCP Method (Use Case Point Analysis) in Estimation of Effort in SW Development
Staněk, Miroslav ; Stanovská, Iva (advisor) ; Zelenka, Ivo (referee)
This bachelor project takes up the subject of summarizing selected methods of analyzing effort of software development. The aim of the project is to explain the calculation progress of some of the methods, while the UCP method and other methods based on the model are emphasized. The UCP method mentioned is used on a practical example and its realization facilitates the comprehension of the essence how single weights of the factors are adjusted and demonstrates the influence of every factor on the final estimate of effort of development. All of the information about the methods are based on previous thorough study of available literature and information sources. Gathered knowledge is used in the realization of the example as well.
